LOLA Deluxe Learning Tower

The LOLA Deluxe is a raised, enclosed platform built from 18 mm solid rubberwood rather than a hollow board. It lifts your child to bench height so they can stir, pour and wash beside you, and it stays fully assembled, so this learning tower is always ready in the corner of the kitchen.

The LOLA Deluxe suits children from around 12 months, once they stand steadily, through to about 6 years. It stands 900 mm tall with a 390 by 300 mm standing platform, and the two rear safety rails give a snug enclosure. The second rail is recommended while your child is under 100 cm.

The standing platform sets at 472.5 mm or 367.5 mm from the floor, so you can match it to your child and your bench. Move it with the tower empty, then check the fittings are firm before your child steps up. The two settings mean the same tower fits a wobbly toddler and a taller preschooler.

Stability comes from a wide rubberwood frame rated to 100 kg, four removable side stabilisers and reinforced rear support. Two rear safety rails enclose your child at the bench, and the timber is sealed with a BPA-free, lead-free, non-toxic water-based varnish. Use it on a flat floor with an adult nearby at all times.

Yes. A removable double-sided drawing board is included, with a magnetic whiteboard on one face and a chalkboard on the other. Slot it onto the back for writing, magnetic letters and drawing, then lift it off while your child is standing at the bench so the tower stays clear.

Kitchens get damp and busy, and solid rubberwood copes better than MDF or composite board, which can swell in humid air. The 18 mm timber is sealed with a non-toxic varnish that wipes clean after floury, sticky sessions, so the frame keeps its strength through years of daily cooking and washing up.

It should. The two platform heights and the 100 kg capacity cover the span from first confident steps to around six years, when most children no longer need a lift to the bench. The solid rubberwood build takes daily climbing, so one tower carries a child through several years rather than a single stage.

An adult assembles it from flat, with the fittings supplied, and most parents finish in well under an hour. To clean it, wipe the rubberwood with a barely damp cloth and dry it off, avoiding soaking near the joints. Store it somewhere airy and leave the wood uncovered so it can breathe.
