Instead of reaching up or waiting on the floor, they can safely stand at bench height to help stir, pour, wash, and discover the world through everyday family activities.

Crafted from durable premium plywood and finished with a non-toxic, water-base paint, the JALA is designed to grow with your child. Three adjustable platform heights and a spacious 393 (W) x 235 (D) mm standing platform provide a stable and comfortable place to stand as their confidence and independence develop.

The included matching step stool adds even more versatility. It is perfect for reaching the bathroom sink, brushing teeth, helping in the kitchen, or encouraging independent play. When not in use, it neatly slides under the tower to help save space, while the integrated rectangle handle makes it easy to move from room to room.

Safety is built into every detail. Flag-shaped side panels provide additional enclosure to help discourage little ones from leaning out, while two safety rails and four removable side stabilisers provide extra stability during use. Rounded corners help reduce bumps, and every component is BPA-free, non-toxic, and designed to meet Australian & New Zealand safety standards.

Design flawed for safety

Structurally great and easy to assemble but the design is flawed. The support beam at the front acts like an internal ladder and I was constantly having to stop my one year old climbing up. A couple of times he got to the top and would sit back on the top edge. Once he was beside me as I was doing the dishes - I reached to grab a plate from the stove and then I heard a splat. Maybe 5 seconds I wasn’t beside him.. he’d quickly tried to climb on top again then fallen off and straight onto his head on kitchen tiles. An ambulance and hospital visit later… he is luckily ok but the learning tower is in storage now. The reward was just not worth the stress, which is a shame because he loved it.

Now he happily stands beside me while I cook, watches out the window, and even eats better while standing in it. It’s been a total game changer and has made cooking possible/ so much easier!
