FELIX Play Set - Kids Swing Seat & Climbing Ladder

This FELIX play set pairs the FELIX Kids Climbing Ladder with the FELIX Kids Swing Seat, an indoor swing for kids and a rope ladder in one. Your child climbs the five-rung ladder, then swings on the curved plank seat beside it. Both suit ages 3 and up and hang separately on their own ropes.

Both pieces suit children from around 3 years and hold up to 60 kg each. The climbing ladder is 40 by 150 cm with five rungs, and the swing seat is 51 by 20 cm. Their ropes adjust from 1.8 to 2.1 metres for the ladder and 1.3 to 2.1 metres for the swing.

Climbing and swinging work well side by side. Pulling up the wobbly ladder builds grip, footwork and balance, and the swing that follows is calming after the effort and plain fun on its own. Together they turn a beam, frame or sturdy branch into an active little corner for busy kids.

The ladder and swing hang independently, each on wooden rope locks, nylon straps and carabiners. Fix them to a structural ceiling joist or a rated frame, never plasterboard alone, spaced far enough apart that a swinging child cannot reach the ladder. Leave clear, cushioned space beneath each one.

Both pieces are birch plywood and beechwood with a non-toxic lacquer, BPA-free and lead-free, sanded smooth with rounded edges. Each holds up to 60 kg, and only one child should be on a piece at a time, with enough gap between them to keep swinging and climbing paths clear.

Before each use, check every knot, rope lock and carabiner, and confirm both anchors overhead are solid. Keep a soft surface under each piece, and stay close while children climb and swing, especially newer climbers still finding their balance.

Buying the two together costs less than picking them up separately, and it sets up a complete climb-and-swing corner in one go. If your child already loves to climb and swing, the pairing keeps them moving between the two, and each piece still hangs on its own if you want to move them apart.

Children need to move to develop well, and climbing and swinging build strength, balance and coordination while burning off energy. Having both indoors means active play carries on through rain, heat or early dark, and a tired-out child tends to settle, focus and sleep better afterwards.

The beechwood rungs, birch plywood seat and adjustable ropes take years of daily use, and the 60 kg limit per piece leaves room for bigger kids. As children get stronger they climb faster and swing higher, and siblings can take turns, so the set holds its place in the room.
